History of Morisho Meiki
1918 (Large 7-1)
Tokumatsu Morimoto opens a rice-burning charcoal wholesaler "Morimoto Shoten" at his current location.
1927 (Showa 2-2)
Shosaku Morimoto founded "Morimoto Meiki Shoten", a wholesaler of polished logs.
1935 (Showa 10-3)
Closed due to the intensification of the Pacific War. According to military orders, the company building was rented to Watanabe Precision Machinery Co., Ltd., a military aircraft parts manufacturer in Osaka.
1943 (Showa 18-8)
Opened "Kansai Wood Industry Co., Ltd.", a cooperating factory of Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd., in the area adjacent to the current location.
1945 (Showa 20-10) End of the war
The returned company building will be used as an employee food factory of Osaka Motor Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (currently Daihatsu Co., Ltd.).
1945 (Showa 24-3)
With the return of the company building from Daihatsu Co., Ltd., the "Kansai Wood Industry Co., Ltd." was dissolved and the "Morimoto Meiki Shoten" was reopened.
1955 (Showa 30-3)
Tokuzo Morimoto completed his studies and entered the store.
1964 (Showa 39-9)
Tokuzo Morimoto was appointed as the representative with the appointment of Shosaku Morimoto as the mayor of Kodano.
1974 (Showa 49-11)
Shosaku Morimoto was awarded the Order of the Rising Sun, 6th prize, for his achievements in local autonomy and industry development.
1977 (Showa 52-3)
Reorganized into a corporate organization and established "Morisho Meiki Sangyo Co., Ltd."
1981 (Showa 56-9)
Held a ceremony and exhibition spot sale to commemorate the 55th anniversary of the company's founding. We will welcome a large number of customers from all over the country and hold a grand event.
1984 (Showa 59-3)
Sadao Morimoto completed his studies and joined the company after training at a customer.
1988 (Showa 63-5)
Sadao Morimoto becomes Managing Director.
1995 (Heisei 7-1)
Our famous tree manufacturing process scene is broadcast live nationwide on the NHK TV archipelago broadcast program. (January 6)
1996 (Heisei 8-1)
Designated as a semi-excellent corporation by the Sakurai Tax Office in Nara Prefecture.
2003 (Heisei 15-5)
Tokuzo Morimoto is appointed Chairman of the Board, and Sadao Morimoto is appointed President and Representative Director.
2009 (Heisei 21-7)
Certified by the Kinki Bureau of Economy, Trade and Industry as a "Regional Industrial Resource Utilization Business Plan".
2010 (Heisei 22-9)
Exhibited at "Living & Design" aiming for new development.
2019 (Heisei 31-4)
Tatsuro Morimoto joined the company after operating at a major trading company. Appointed Senior Managing Director.
